Host is an official Volunteer Position (hours volunteered will be documented by the non profit)

Responsible for oversight of a specific Respite’s guests and property

Lives on-site, typically in the guest house itself

Basic utilities are provided — as appropriate for each specific Respite. (such as: water, sewer, power, garbage, WIFI, phone)

Some Respites might have an insured vehicle available for the Host

Hosts may be an individual, a couple, or a family

Live near enough to clean and maintain what the Host cannot

Caretakers are on-call for property maintenance

Negotiate work for trade or housing or payment
